Youth Movement for Hope and Reconciliation
About
Founded in 2008 to transition post-conflict youth from passive observers to active change agents. The movement operates out of 9 regional offices with 50 full-time staff, confronting systemic divisions through localised reconciliation centres and dialogue camps.
Impact
Guided over 30,000 members through systematic peacebuilding training. The initiative has inspired more than 5,000 student leaders through 11 seasons of the Future Leaders’ Conference, with active diaspora networks in Toronto, London, Melbourne, DC, LA, and Wellington.

A strategic initiative aiming to entirely transform Sri Lanka’s socio-political and economic framework by its centenary of independence in 2048.
